Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, he got bit by the "entrepreneurial bug" at a young age and has been involved in starting and running multiple businesses ever since. After two of his businesses nearly killed him, Richard made it his mission to ensure other entrepreneurs didn’t go through the same struggles alone. Richard is passionate about helping other business owners go from playing "Chief Everything Officer" to an Unleashed CEO. I'm Richard Shaull and I'm so excited to kick off this inaugural episode of the Becoming Unleashed Podcast, where we help entrepreneurs execute their vision, empower their team and free up time to focus on growth. My belief is that empowered entrepreneurs build a brighter future and the world's best workplaces. And so we are on a mission here to equip you to do that in your own company through your entrepreneurial innovation in about 20 minutes per week. I am so excited to share with you all of the incredible content, strategies, and tools that are to come to help you do that. Just to give you a little sneak peek into some of the upcoming content that's about to be released, we're going to be talking about growing your company, using technology, how to do it well, and how to avoid the pitfalls. We're going to talk about the habits and mindset of a visionary CEO versus a chief everything officer, dig into how to know your numbers, how to increase profitability and drive that within your business at the CEO level. We're also going to look at CEO burnout, the real talk that needs to happen around the incredible burnout that exists in founder CEOs, how to combat it, how to overcome it, and how to actually become a better leader as a result of it. Being burned out does not mean anything is wrong with you. In fact, it probably means that you did some of the right things in the past, and we just need to fix them. I'm also really excited about some of the guests we're going to interview. Some of them guests have led very successful companies. In many cases, they're serial entrepreneurs who have led multiple companies, and these entrepreneurs are going to expose you and I to the mindsets, practices and experiences that shaped their success so that we can emulate it.
